well, ive been on that thread already and it says somethin about the registry. but on the touch u cant find that anywhere to disable t9

what do you find under the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts ?

i have no idea where to find that..

I actually use memmaid to edit my registry a must have app. Found HERE: [www.dinarsoft.com]
Another must have app. is a back-up program (always backup before a registry change). I use SPB Backup Found HERE: [www.spbsoftwarehouse.com]
I own a Sprint HTC Touch and if you want to learn and use yours properly you will follow the suggestion I have given you. Learn First then flame someone who actally pointed you to the correct answers, but you would not know that until you actually learn your device. I am giving very sound advice even thou you flamed me. ........after takin off t9 my touch keypad doesnt work...when i press on the touch keypad, the touch keyboard comes up instead.......... ugh

help...
