Hi!

I have made a default VGA theme for PCM Keyboard!
It's based on oiginal Touch theme (becouse work
was started when only this theme was avaible )

To install, just extract attached ZIP file to your
PCMKeyboard folder on your device, and then chose
Touch VGA skin from input panel options

Pls post, if you need other themes converted to VGA
devices, if some theme will be popular, I will make
VGA version...

I'm wondering, how does the keyboard look in VGA without theme, it should be ugly but usable, is it the case?

Heh... Yes - it looks ugly There you have screenshots of Touch QVGA and
without theme... With any theme - it is not usable - letters are drawed on each
other, after shift or mode change... Without theme it can be usable, but
it is hard to see what letter that is, and where are the borders... (auto
correction don't work becouse the default 33 pixels isn't enough)

THEME UPDATED TO VERSION 0.5 !!

0.5 version has added a few new keys, but font for that keys can't be modified.
So there were to small for VGA devices... So I made images for ALL new
keys!! Theme is updated with images of all of the new keys - tab, home, end,
options, del, esc, copy, cut, paste and mode... Also shift will work
for layouts 1-8

NOTE: If you want to make a custom layout, pls remeber that for
mode, paste and copy keys, you must use 2 blocks for that keys...

thanks for adding VGA support, just a detail you should add the skin in a zip... apparently most browser will simply consider it's a zip and open it.

If they get the zip, they open it, and extract to their device.

Just to let you know... I installed the keyboard and then the VGA skin, and as mentioned, the feedback image had problems. But instead of resetting, I reloaded the keyboard in the input methods menu, and then everything went ok. It would be good to see more vga skins. Anyway, the keyboard doesn't still feel very comfortable to type on in my Axim X51v.

- main change is that symbol pads appears after shorter holding time

- Changed some special buttons images

Touch skin UPDATED to v0.9b:
- Added keyboard_small_font setting, so for now your custom
layout should be usable on VGA (remember that if you
are using more than 3 chars or more than 3 chars and a dot, you
should use 2 keys for that special key)

However it does not work in landscape mode with Version .10 RC2. There is a comment from the the developer that the landscape layout has been made wider. I would rather him keep the layout the same so you can use it with one hand.

Now I can't find the .9 download. Does anyone have a link to the .9b version or an updated skin?

I can't update the skin, becouse there is no setting for landscape background
image...

make a wider background image doesn't work for you?
