Did anyone try to produce a virtual d-pad?
A SIP consisting just of large directional keys and enter (fire) would be necessary for HTC Touch HD.

I think the easiest way to program this would be through a plugin interface or a configurable command line for calling and SMS sending (or keep the current methods as they are, and include a second way of sending with configurable external programs). Then you don't have to bother with Bluetooth connection or AT commands,
but another developer (me, for example) may develop the neccessary external programs or plugins.
